Poetry&Words is the only stage at Glastonbury dedicated to poetry. Since it was founded by Pat VT West 28 years ago, the stage has hosted hundreds of talented spoken word artists, storytellers, bards, raconteurs and stand-up poets from around the world. This year, in the absence of Worthy Farm’s beautiful mud and glitter-strewn fields, 12 of our poets have stepped up to the mark to record short videos so you can sample their wonderful wordplay from the comfort of your own home. From the sensuous storytelling power of Imelda May, to the comedic genius of John Hegley, Murray Lachlan Young and Porky the Poet (AKA Phill Jupitus), this is one playlist you won’t want to let go of in a hurry.
